Bee-one of us! Click me.
The team with no name re-launches after the players chose to be…the Bumbles.
Part of the re-launch plan is to include able bodied players.
The Bumble Bees now consist of players with and without Learning and Physical Disabilities.
The Bumbles are still receiving specialist coaching from RFU Representatives Hamish Pratt and Neil ‘the Daddy’ Spence (when childbearing permits). Dave ‘Diehard’ Morris supplies additional coaching.
Mixed ability team advice has been received from the coach of the Llanelli Warriors in West Wales who have 15 seasons of experience.
Warriors Coach Gwilym Lewis has suggested passive scrums and advised us on the use of different strip for players who cannot participate in full contact rugby.
Gwilyms' Warriors have challenged the Bumble Bees to a game but first there is the hurdle of the magnificent ‘Fat Boy 7s’ Tournament in May 2010.
The Bumble Bees are still recruiting new players, contact;
