Our Mini teams Under 7/8s age groups welcome both boys and girls. They start by learning to play Tag Rugby known as Stage 1 which is a non contact form of the game.
Our Min/Midi teams Under 9/10s again welcome both boys and girls, whatever their background and experience.they are introduced to contact Rugby or Stage 2 as they progress through these age groups.
Don't be put off if you or your child hasn't started at the Mini level because at each level the players are taught the basics from the earlier years. No player is "Thrown in at the deep end" the coaches need to be confident that, all that participate do so safely.
Our Midi teams Under 11/12s again welcome both boys and girls, at this stage the game is further developed Stage 3 by the introduction of more aspects of the game, larger pitch, more contact etc. The Under 12's is the last year that the boys and girls can play in the same team.
At present we do not run any girls RUGBY above this age group, but this is something we intend to rectify in the near future. Watch This Space Girls
The Junior teams (Under 13's upwards) play as boys teams and their development continues. We now adopt the full 15 aside game with a few variations in the laws up to Under 19. At this point we also introduce the RFU's Structured Season, so we can control the amount of Rugby they play.
In addition, people who would like to help in any other capacity are welcome, and there are many tasks which, as volunteers, can assist in the success of our (your) club.
