Rugby Summer School
COURSE INFORMATION
The summer rugby school will be held at one of the most exciting rugby clubs in the North of England. The Club management in conjunction with the Aire Valley Schools Partnership want to build on the success of its junior section and deliver a fun filled week for all abilities.
ABOUT THE SUMMER SCHOOL
This will be the first summer school that the BEES have run and is for girls and boys aged between 7 to 14 years of age. The course is designed for all levels of player and non player – we will ensure that players are split into groups that will be suitable for their capabilities and so that they achieve maximum enjoyment and development. Children will get a course t-shirt and have the opportunity of gaining certificates and prizes over the week.
COURSE STRUCTURE
Each day will be different – all will include rugby type skills and games depending on the age group. Enjoyment is the main emphasis throughout the week culminating in a fun afternoon and BBQ on Friday to which all parents/carers are invited.
WHAT TO BRING
You’ll need :- Sports kit for all weathers, a waterproof top essential – this is and outside event. Include a change of clothes. Rugby or football boots are recommended but not essential, if players have a gum shield please bring it but contact is not done at all levels.Packed lunch and a refillable drinks bottle. Sun cream and hat.
COACHING STAFF
All coaches are qualified amd CRB checked.
COST
The cost for all 5 days (9am to 3.30pm) is £70.00
